That’s why all new systems and procedures undergo rigorous Mission Critical testing and we perform a drill on emergency procedures once a month. We utilise hardware redundancy to ensure 100% uptime: a backup fully redundant PBX is on permanent automatic fall over in the event of a primary switch failure.
Our location benefits from an exceptional quality of public services, making good use of multiple Virgin media fibre data links enabling us to manage individual DDI call flow over multiple ISDN circuits. In addition to the Virgin network we also use 2 x BT 30 channel ISDN lines plus 2 x 10 megabit data circuits, this comprehensive installation guarantees through full redundancy that we never go off line.
Answer-4U Corporate operate a tier one national network level call distribution platform from which inbound client calls are routed to our call centre, this traffic is managed automatically and has the benefit of selecting available lines from either BT or Virgin dependant on availability which removes any possibility of line interruption and acts as a safety net in the event of any individual line issues.
Server backups follow daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly rolling schedules, allowing for six captured historic states of each machine as well as numerous interim “safe points.” Mirrored RAID solutions allow us to physically remove our system state on a hard drive to provide near instant recovery. Answer-4U Corporate utilise Zen technology to run our servers in a virtual environment permitting instant backup and recovery of any machine on the fly with no system downtime whatsoever.
